Washington, DC / DMV — Commercial signage

Reach the buyer while the sign decision is still open.

SpendWindow Intelligence tracks public records across the DMV to identify businesses that are likely to need signage soon — and filters out the ones that have already chosen a vendor.

How it works

Three steps

  1. 01

    Collect public signals

Permits, licensing activity, lease and occupancy filings, franchise and expansion notices, and other public records across the DC / DMV footprint.

  2. 02

    Estimate the window

Each signal is dated and mapped to where a business likely sits in its signage timeline — from early build-out to final installation.

  3. 03

    Suppress what's late

Records showing an issued sign permit, a named sign contractor, or a completed install are filtered out before the list reaches you.

FAQ

Common questions

Where does the data come from?
Public records only — permit portals, business licensing, and similar filings. Every opportunity cites the record it came from so you can confirm it independently.
How is this different from a lead list?
A list tells you a business exists. These are dated signals about businesses that are currently making a decision, with the ones that already picked a vendor removed.
How many opportunities should I expect?
Volume depends on filing activity in a given week. During the pilot the goal is quality and verifiability, not a target count, and slow weeks will be reported as slow weeks.
Is the territory exclusive?
Not during validation. The pilot is limited to a small number of participants so feedback can shape the format.
What happens after 30 days?
Nothing renews automatically. You keep everything delivered and decide whether to continue.
Who is behind this?
SpendWindow Intelligence is an early-stage service operated by American Cabling Company during validation.
